Description: EDM - Electron Direct Methods
 EDM is a package that uses a graphical interface to perform
 a number of (simple) image analysis operations as well as
 an interface to the fs98 Direct Methods code. The intent is
 to provide in a relatively user-friendly code an interface
 to a number of crystallographic methods which up to now have
 been (user unfriendly) research tools.

 The structure of the package is essentially the same as any
 standard GNU package, although some elements may not be fully
 there. For specific details, see the file edm/documentation/edm.htm
 or http://www.numis.northwestern.edu/edm for the latest version.
 Be sure to read BUGS and INSTALL in this directory.
